D Art House is a well resourced and highly professional school, established in 2024 in response to the rarity of rigorous, representational art education. D Art House
Founder & Principle - Carrie Chung
Carrie Chung is the founder and principal of D Art House, with over 20 years of experience in art, design, and education.
Graduated in Interior Design, she has been actively involved in furniture design, interior design, and commercial space projects. Between 2007 and 2019, she also taught art part-time, where she developed a deep passion for nurturing young talents through art.
In 2024, she founded D Art House in Tabuan Laru, Kuching, with the vision to provide a more structured and professional art education environment, addressing the lack of strong foundational art training locally.
D Art House focuses on children and teenagers aged 4 to 18, offering step-by-step art programs that develop creativity, technical skills, and artistic confidence. Beyond art skills, the programs also help students build focus, patience, and self-expression.
With small group and one-to-one teaching approaches, every student is guided according to their own pace, allowing them to grow and enjoy the learning journey.

D Art House students and staff initiate and engage in a wide range of events and projects.
MERDEKA Colouring Contest
The National Day Coloring Contest will be held on 31 August 2025 at Podium, Kuching. It is open to children aged 4–9. There will be exciting prizes, parent-child games, and free activities. Limited slots available — only 50 participants.
Christmas Acrylic Painting 2024 at The Spring
Our Christmas Coloring Contest has come to a beautiful close, filled with warmth, colors, and joyful holiday spirit. It was such a pleasure to see the children fully focused, carefully coloring, and expressing their creativity through every stroke.

1 day event Mid-Autumn Acrylic Painting
The Mid-Autumn Festival one-day acrylic painting experience will be held on 15 September 2025 at The Podium. It is suitable for children aged 5 and above, parents and children, as well as adults. Participants can create freely on-site, and completed artworks can be taken home.

Coloring Contest at the Airport Market has successfully come to an end! We are truly honored to once again be invited by the organizers — Auto Car Care, RS Enterprise, and Theme Market — for D Art House to serve as the judges of this wonderful event.
